As claims adjuster: Investigate and evaluate all relevant facts to determine coverage for 5 different states. Establish timely and accurate claims and expense reserves. Negotiate and convey claim settlement within authority limit.
Handle files in compliance with state Department of Insurance regulations, where applicable. Recognized when to refer to Special Investigation Unit and/or Subrogation Unit. Arrange inspections for vehicles and make appropriate payments.
Make rental reservations with Enterprise using ARMs website. Arrange towing using Copart Website, review for total loss valuation of the vehicles and negotiate total loss settlements. Review and pay property damage subrogation demands.
Review medical records and bills, estimate cost of treatment for reasonable reimbursement with insureds, claimants, and attorneys. Provide excellent customer service to meet the needs of the insured, agent, and all other internal and external customers and business partners.
