Kasandra Kaehler

I am a loving cat mom with a passion for art, reading, and writing. My biggest passion is graphic design; in middle school I first discovered photoshop and I absolutely loved it, and that's when my passion started. From then on I continued to focus and hone my graphic design skills all throughout high school and into college. My goal of becoming a graphic designer has never wavered even after all of these years.

I have not had a job in graphic design yet, my jobs up until this point have all been customer service jobs in retail, service, etc. I have worked as a waitress at the Avalon Atmospheric Theater, a desk attendant at Planet Fitness, a Circulation Aide at the Milwaukee Public Library, and I have also been self employed as a shopper for Instacart. Despite my job history though, I have the ultimate desire to work in graphic design and I have what it takes.

The graphic design courses I took in college are my most relevant education. I took courses at MATC. Through this education I have gained experience with logos, brochures, packaging design, personal artistic pieces, and have gained knowledge in brainstorming techniques and practices along with concept design. I do not have a finished degree yet, it is a work in progress. However, I have the skills needed to succeed and there is always room for growth and improvement. What I need is an employer to see my passion and dedication and give me an opportunity to shine.
