Hi there! I am a junior undergraduate student at the University of Washington in Seattle. I am studying a Bachelor of Science in Informatics Specialization Biomedical Health Informatics with a Minor in Data Science. I am on track to graduate June 2025, and am looking for some internship experience! I am a quick learner and will be in Mountain View, CA area (open to other options in CA or WA) during the summer (June-Sept).
As a highly motivated and adaptable individual, I bring a diverse range of experiences to the table. My professional journey includes a dynamic internship at EPAM Technologies, where I was mentored by experts in consulting management, UX design, and health. During this tenure, I actively contributed by proposing innovative ideas and conducting research for the Life Sciences team, and honing my Python coding skills for both front-end and back-end development, utilizing SQL.
Additionally, my role as a Barista at Peet's Coffee showcased my exceptional interpersonal skills in a fast-paced environment, meeting high standards for quality and efficiency.
In the realm of projects, I played a pivotal role in developing the RecoverEase App prototype, an initiative aimed at aiding patient recovery post-surgery. Collaborating with a team, I utilized Figma to enhance the user interface design and overall user experience.
Project saw me designing and developing a Figma prototype to assist students in managing their finances, with guidance from a senior visual designer at Google. More recently, my TechConnect Web App Project addressed the accessibility gap in the tech industry, creating a centralized web application offering free access to tech resources and career insights for marginalized communities.
Currently pursuing a B.S. in Informatics with a Minor in Data Science at the University of Washington, I am on track to graduate in June 2025. My coursework has equipped me with a strong foundation in both technical and interdisciplinary subjects, including Computer Programming (Java, Python, Responsive CSS/HTML), Informatics in Healthcare, Statistical Concepts, and Data Science. I possess practical skills in using IDEs such as Eclipse, IntelliJ, and Visual Studio, as well as proficiency in applications like Figma, Canva, and Adobe products.
My language proficiency includes Java, Python, R, and JavaScript, with hands-on experience in interactive HTML/CSS, React, Bootstrap frameworks, and Firebase Database.
Beyond technical skills, my education has fostered soft skills crucial for professional success. I am known for my strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and collaborative teamwork. My coursework in Design Foundations and Calculus has further enhanced my analytical and creative thinking. My academic journey reflects not only a commitment to excellence but also a continuous pursuit of knowledge and adaptability, making me a valuable asset in any professional setting.
