I am a compassionate, goal driven individual who recently finished her master's in social work. I have previous experience working in both a group home and high school setting. My recent accomplishments include:
- Receiving my BSW from Fairfield University and receiving my MSW with a 4.00 from Southern Connecticut State University
- Designing and facilitating groups targeted to the mental health needs of specific populations within the school (i.e. LGBT students, students with autism)
- Co-facilitating psychoeducation and mental health recovery groups for individuals with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder
- Engaging families and adolescents in order to provide effective interventions
- Successfully supporting individuals in their recovery goals through individual sessions and utilizing evidence-based techniques
- Successfully providing crisis interventions with youth and adults and developing mental health crisis intervention plans
