Hi! My name is Katie and I am a current college student at Colorado State University currently pursuing my undergraduate in Journalism.

GRANDVIEW CHRONICLE (August 2020 - May 2023) Editor-In-Chief (August 2023 - May 2023)

• Oversaw a team of 32 writers across 5 departments, including advising writers, editing all stories, planning content flow, and posting 3 stories a week on publication’s website.
• Created class curriculum/lesson plans and rubrics for teaching journalistic structure.

• Oversaw Opinion’s department workflow, deadlines, and story process, including editing and posting all stories produced within the department.

• Oversaw Sports’ department workflow, deadlines, and story process, including editing and posting all stories produced within the department. 

Grandview Boys Swim Team Photographer (March 2022 - May 2023)

• Photographed all meets for Varsity and JV, including from pool deck and underwater photos. 

• Ran an independent photography Instagram page covering high school sports, theater, and senior portraits.
