Kathleen Ivers

My name is Kathleen Ivers. I graduated from Arizona State University (ASU) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and have been an RN for over 20 years. My Master of Science in Nursing-Leadership in Healthcare (MSN-L) was completed in 2011, and shortly after this completed my Post-Masters Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate in 2014 and became a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) in 2015.

My experiences include women/infants (WIS), pain management, addiction, urgent care, weight loss management & eating disorders, as well as nursing education. I have had the privilege of teaching nursing students since 2011. I am currently teaching didactic, clinical, lab, and simulation for several courses, with a focus on Mental Health.

I am currently enrolled in a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certificate program with an estimated graduation date of April 2024. Nursing education is my passion!
