Kathryn Murdock

I'm a qualified massage therapist with 13 years experience specializing in sports massage, deep tissue, and the Facial Distortion Model. I work with diverse clientele including athletes such as body builders and triathletes. I focus on range of motion and stretching with clients as flexibility is key in injury prevention.Until March of this year, I was serving as Front Desk Lead at Ride Indoor Cycling, where I worked in a hospitality role greeting clients, managing computer work including purchase orders and supply orders, answering phones, and overseeing studio cleanliness.

I moved here from Scotland 19 years ago where I was working in a local sandwich shop that helped the community also. When I arrived in Houston, I became a personal trainer and then a boot camp instructor.

I love doing Massage Therapy but am looking to transition into a different field as it is physically demanding and I can't do it forever. I feel that my experience in customer service would make me an excellent candidate for this position as well as my history in health and wellness. I would love to work for a non profit such as the Houston Food Bank, because you do such amazing work within the community and giving people the opportunity to avoid hunger and eat better.

Predominantly work with people in a hospitality role. Greet clients as they enter the studio and ensure they have an enjoyable experience. I gave them a tour of the studio and answer any questions they may have.
