Kathy Lovett

Over the course of 38 years, I have built a successful career in the Fine Arts and in key Management roles. I left the workforce in 2019 in order to attend to a parent battling Dementia & Parkinson's. Spending a year working with my mother and dealing with her cognitive needs led me to seeking a job in the senior living industry.

I have been employed by Brookdale Dogwood Creek Senior Living for the past 6 years. I retained that position until March 31st of this year, when Brookdale Corporate decided to remove itself from the managing side and focus more on the communities they owned. The new managing group (Ciel Senior Living) retained all the Service Staff.

However, the Executive Team was not brought onboard. As a result, I find myself at yet another crossroad in life. I have to look at this as an opportunity to branch out and discover new ways in which I can positively affect more lives within the surrounding community I live in.

I still have a lot to offer in my professional work life, and want only the chance to continue to learn & grow personally.

Resident Services Director at Brookdale Dogwood Creek Senior Living (2018 – 2024-03)

• Worked directly with the IL community and became the liaison between the Residents, their Family, & Brookdale
• Oversaw resident happiness, concerns, needs, health, and aging in place
