I’m a passionate and dedicated Pediatric RN with over 8 years of experience in pediatric emergency medicine and pediatric neurology/neuromuscular care. In my most recent role as a Pediatric Neurology and Neuromuscular Nurse Coordinator, I managed critical medication approvals and served as the primary point of contact for complex care coordination involving infants and children with life-altering neurologic conditions—supporting families through multi-million-dollar gene therapy infusions, comprehensive diagnostic workups, and long-term treatment planning.
As a Pediatric Acute Care DNP student, I’m committed to continual growth, advancing clinical excellence, and advocating for medically complex children. I thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity settings and bring sharp clinical judgment, clear communication, and a deeply compassionate, individualized, patient-centered approach to everything I do. What drives me each day is the opportunity to make a lasting impact that reaches far beyond the job.
I’m an experienced and compassionate RN with 9 years of nursing experience—8 of those dedicated to pediatric acute care. I began my career in a pulmonary step-down ICU at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where I built a strong foundation in critical care, ventilator management, and high-acuity patient support. I quickly discovered that my true calling was in pediatrics.
I spent 4 years in a Pediatric Emergency Department at a Southside Chicago Medical Center, where I was charge trained, served as a unit preceptor and earned my CPEN and TNCC certifications. In this fast-paced setting, I developed strong skills in trauma response, patient stabilization, and critical thinking under pressure.
Most recently, I worked as a Pediatric Neurology and Neuromuscular Nurse Coordinator, serving as the primary point of contact for medically complex children and their families. I am experienced in performing neurologic/neuromuscular assessments, triaging any neurologic/seizure-related concerns, managing critical medication approvals, coordinating multi-million-dollar infusions and long-term treatment planning for children with life-altering neuromuscular conditions.
I bring a calm, organized presence, sharp clinical judgment, and a deep commitment to patient-centered, family-focused care in every setting I step into.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Illinois State University in 2016, graduating Summa Cum Laude. I’m currently pursuing my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at the University of Illinois Chicago, with a concentration in Pediatric Acute Care, and an expected graduation in May 2026. My doctoral work is focused on advancing evidence-based care in pediatric acute care medicine, with a goal of improving outcomes for medically complex children and the families who care for them.
