I have a well-rounded education and professional portfolio - full of unique professional opportunities and development. I also have a solid foundation and interest to further my career in Project Management. In regards to education, I have an Associate's Degree in Business Administration, a Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability with a focus in Natural Resources and Management, a Specialization in Organizational Leadership, and certifications in Negotiation and Strategy. I have published research on rebuilding power grids with renewables while at University. Obtaining my CAPM and PMP certification is next on my professional development checklist. Professionally, I began my career as Assistant Director of Farms as an intern. Shortly after, I accepted a position in LA as Assistant Director of Farms and Facilities for Malibu Gold Co. and Cali Lotus. In time, I shared my knowledge of renewables and sustainability with the right people in the company. From there, I was asked to assist with the planning and retrofitting of a 4,000 sqft indoor grow facility. After project completion, I was asked to lead my own 4,000 sqft project. In this role, I was responsible for orchestrating architects and the design process, as well as maintaining carpenters, electric, plumbing, delivery and installation of equipment and various issue resolution. I would be happy to share what I can of past projects I have lead in California, and talk more about my qualifying experience. Finding a role that fits myself is as important to me as finding the right candidate is for you.
I enjoy positions in Logistics, Organizational Leadership and Project Management - my education lead me to the PM path and I'm happy with it. Watching a project develop from cradle-to-grave and being able to perfect the final outcome is fun for me. Most of my experience in PM positions is in Controlled Environmental Agriculture. However, I believe with the right training and experience I would be able to transfer PM skills and principles learned from CEA Construction Projects to Home Building, or other Construction Projects. In regards to location, I am more used to being onsite than in office. My professional experience has been onsite from Assisting Farm Directors to being a part of CEA Construction - although I am adaptable and could see being in an office doable.
