Managed and coordinated the ship's quality assurance program. Supervised four engineering divisions aboard a nuclear submarine, authorizing all operations and maintenance during a major shipyard overhaul.
- Integrated the ship's QA Program into the Navy's training and qualification software (first submarine in the Pacific Fleet to do so); recognized by outside organizations for vastly improving the efficiency of the program.
- Created and led classroom style training on over 30 occasions for topics ranging from nuclear power, tactical execution, and maintenance management, leading to the qualification of 150 sailors.
