My name is Keegan Gowin and I was born and raised in Charleston, IL, and stayed in my hometown for college to play golf at Eastern Illinois University. I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in marketing in May of 2023 and decided to take advantage of my COVID eligibility year and work towards my MBA. While in college, I shadowed and worked for my brother as he began franchising Jersey Mike stores throughout central Illinois.
He now has X stores. This has given me experience in marketing and sales, by facilitating community outreach campaigns and ensuring the new store is well received by the community. This has made me passionate about working with people and made me understand the hard work it takes to grow market share.
All of this makes me excited about the opportunity to interview with you guys as I know the extensive growth you have had over the years and I’m excited to learn more throughout the process.
