My name is Keenan Knop, I am a 19-year-old currently attending the University of Utah, where I am pursuing my academic and personal growth. Beyond the classroom, my passions are the amazing world of snowboarding and fitness. The slopes have always called out to me, and snowboarding has become both an exhilarating adventure and a therapeutic escape.
The rush of carving down snow covered mountains to hitting rails in the park fuels my sense of adventure and fearlessness, traits that I carry into various aspects of my life. My love for fitness underscores my pursuit of a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Whether it's hitting the gym, exploring outdoor trails, or playing some lacrosse with the boys, I find immense satisfaction in pushing my physical boundaries and encouraging others to do the same.
My time at the University of Utah serves as the backdrop to these passions, where I am not only shaping my academic future but also forging connections with like-minded individuals.
Throughout my journey as a field supervisor, coach, and Wendy's crew member, I have gained and learned through a lot of experiences. As a field supervisor, I honed my leadership skills by overseeing and coordinating various tasks, ensuring that each team member was empowered to excel in their roles. This role allowed me to develop a keen sense of adaptability, as I navigated through challenges while maintaining a cohesive and efficient work environment.
As a coach, I embraced the opportunity to mentor and guide individuals, fostering their growth both professionally and personally. My time as a Wendy's crew member provided me with a fundamental understanding of the nuts and bolts of the industry. From customer interactions to food preparation, I gained hands-on experience that solidified the importance of attention to detail and exceptional customer service.
These collective experiences have not only equipped me with a comprehensive skill set but have also instilled in me a deep appreciation for teamwork, adaptability, and the continuous pursuit of excellence.
I currently am a sophomore at the University of Utah.
