Industrial Maintenance Technician, Mobile Services including welding, fabrication, installations, tuning and repairs.
My company is Decor Modern Metals Inc. established in 1998 registered in Pompano Beach FL with a "Machine shop & Welding" vendor at 1740 NW 22nd CT Suite 7 33069 over 23 years in 1878 sq ft of rental shop space. I sport a Grumman Kurbmaster Step Van that houses my BEST tools to do impromptu mobile ventures. The shop houses a unique yet standard set of tooling that supports the projects I most often accomplish.
The shop hosts a 20 Ton 10' press brake, an Enco Lathe, Bridgeport Mill, BendPak 9000 automotive lift, full selection of welding and plasma electronic machines for metal fabrication. Further there are woodworking saws, planers, routers, edgers, sanders, drilling and moulding machines. There are metal plate, pipe, tubing forming tools, benders, shears, saws and grinders.
The tooling selection is not new nor pristine at this point yet it's functional and on-site ready to be of use. Pragmatic shop tooling is most efficient whereas everything is replaceable. I get jobs done safely and in the best time possible. www.decormodernmetals.com --- 954 956 0600 ---
As of July 2026 - the last job I finished was mobile 1hr each way north to re-roof a PBR steel shed 2400sq ft. Pulled up every panel without tripping the emergency-fire-system not 12" below. I replaced multiple purlins and short supportive sections. The job was paid in full with complete satisfaction of the customer and tenant.
My education in a nutshell is Jr. High wood shop, sheet metal, small engines, art - then High School with advanced wood working, drafting, electricity, small engines, automotive studies 2 years, - then Ohio Technical College for diesel and heavy trucking technology, - then to Broward College for small business, mathematics, chemistry, french, spanish, computer science, theology, anthropology, student government, journalism and volunteering with disability services as a tutor. Further I've attended Maritime Professional Training school for my MCA maritime certifications to serve as Chief Engineer aboard multiple motor yachts over 210 gross tons and 608 gross tons.
