Stationed at Fort Carson as a member of the 282nd Engineer Company, 244th Engineer Battalion after completing training at Fort Jackson, SC and at the U.S. Army Ordnance Corps' Ordnance School at Fort Lee, VA. Part of a team of about 30 other reservists that conducted equipment repairs on behalf of the 244th Engineer Battalion.
- Main responsibilities included the repair, maintenance, and aid of the battalion's vehicles.
- Additionally, was responsible for the repair and maintenance of the AC and Heating units at Fort Carson that were used by the 282nd Engineer Company.
- Also assisted other Army personnel in various tasks and duties assigned to personnel at Fort Carson, such as taking inventory of, checking and aiding with the company's Humvees, MTVs and various construction vehicles.
