Application Architect & Senior Software Engineer with 20+ years of experience designing, modernizing, and supporting complex web-based applications across construction, government, SaaS, media, finance, and technology sectors. I specialize in ColdFusion and SQL Server full-stack development, with deep strengths in application architecture, API design, performance optimization, and legacy system modernization.
Throughout my career, I’ve led the technical design and development of large-scale platforms, including multi-tenant project management systems and high-traffic content sites. I’ve worked hands-on with MVC frameworks (CFWheels), REST and OAuth-based APIs, third-party integrations, and responsive front-end interfaces using JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and modern HTML/CSS.
I’m comfortable working end-to-end—from collaborating directly with stakeholders and clients, to implementing DevOps solutions on IIS, Apache, and Nginx, to serving as a release manager coordinating development, QA, and production deployments. I also enjoy untangling hard problems, whether that’s migrating legacy ColdFusion systems, stabilizing high-load applications, or cutting multi-hour batch jobs down to minutes.
Lately, I’ve been expanding my hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Vue.js, and GraphQL, while continuing to bring pragmatic, business-focused thinking to every project. I thrive in environments where technical depth, ownership, and clear communication matter—and where software is expected to solve real problems, not just ship features.
