Field & Project Engineer Intern at Unlimited Permit Services, Inc., Marine Design and Consulting (2024-05 – 2024-08)
Mini Prestressed Beam Competition Member at ASCE (2025-03 – 2025-04)
Senior Design - Seawall Design at Gamble Rogers State Park Coastal Infrastructure Rehabilitation (2025-09 – 2026-03)
Designed a vinyl sheet pile seawall with a helical anchor tie-back system to resist lateral earth and hydrostatic pressures for a coastal shoreline stabilization project. Evaluated structural loading, soil-structure interaction, and long-term durability to develop a seawall replacement suitable for a marine environment. Assessed existing seawall deterioration and developed a replacement design addressing cracking, settlement, anchor failure, and shoreline erosion.
Selected structural materials based on corrosion resistance, constructability, lifecycle performance, and maintenance requirements. Coordinated structural, geotechnical, and environmental design considerations to integrate the seawall with roadway and stormwater improvements.
