Kelly Tighe

I’m an acting teacher, coach, director, and SAG-AFTRA actress with over 14 years of experience helping artists grow their craft. Trained under the esteemed Richard Lawson, I coach actors at all levels for stage, screen. I’ve directed plays and created a filmmaking program for underserved youth at WACO Theatre Center, focusing on empowerment through storytelling.

My students have booked series regular roles and been accepted into top programs like USC and Pepperdine. As a working actress, I’ve performed across commercial, voiceover, stage, and television projects — and I love helping others bring their talent to life.

As an on-set coach, I’ve worked with young actors on major national commercials for brands such as Wells Fargo, Kia, and Best Buy, as well as coaching for television and film roles.

I’ve directed stage productions, currently assist a prominent television director, and developed a filmmaking empowerment program for underserved youth. My teaching experience spans from substitute teaching K–12 to instructing at The Theatre Lab in Washington, D.C. My students have gone on to become series regulars and have been accepted into top film programs like USC and Pepperdine.
