- Maintain control/operation of power generation, distribution, and priority load sharing to all shipboard systems
- Majority of all preventative, corrective, and scheduled maintenance performed in-house
- Operative knowledge and maintenance of Intercon coupling systems
- Manage fuel, lube, and ballasting operations/bunkering
- Maintain vessel in compliance with ABS, SOLAS, and USCG requirements for periodic inspections/internal quarterly inspections
Chief engineer - DON JON MARINE

Chief engineer aboard varies tugs ranging from 800-3200 horsepower
- Responsible for all USCG and ABS inspections with regards to engines and propulsion machinery
- Maintenance and repair of Detroit, Caterpillar, Cummins
- Responsible for inventory, logging non-confirmities, repairs, and safety checks
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electronic, and propulsion machinery issues
- As needed fabrication and welding aboard vessel
- Overall responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the engine room
Engineer - SEASTREAK PASSENGER FERRY

Engineer aboard various passenger ferries, ranging from xxxx – 7000 horsepower
- Responsible for maintaining and servicing main engines and generators – MTU 2000/4000 series, Cummins KTA 50, John Deere gen sets
- Trouble shoot and repair all onboard apparatus, including but not limited to propulsion machinery and wheelhouse electronics
- Participate in USCG inspections, yard appointments, and routine safety drills
Plant operator - ARIA ENERGY CORPORATION

Plant operator responsible for maintaining and repairing Caterpillar 3516 and 3520 natural gas generators
- Troubleshoot shutdowns and perform scheduled maintenance
- Perform appropriate lock out tag procedures
- Assist in major frame overhauls
