Ken Nguyen

I love the world of film, television and animation, to the point that I want to become a part of the “making-of”. I am super ambitious in my passion that I don't just want to enjoy it – I want to be the greatest.

I started video editing for YouTube content when I was 18. I worked my way into live captioning and live streaming to get myself accustomed to the pressures of developing live broadcasting and media. I still wasn't satisfied with my skills, lacking experience in camera operating and hands-on production, I worked for the Minnesota Senate Media Services for 2 years.

I worked my way up as a live streamer for the Senate legislation to becoming a cameraman, a producer, and a graphics operator in the studio. Finally, I am now a qualified to becoming a head technician in my field.

I hope to work with the best of the best in this field, to hone my craft and to expand my knowledge and love for television, film and media.

I am a freelancing video editor using Davinci Resolve Studios, Photoshop and Lightroom. I can also help setup and manage a creator's livestreams on Twitch, YouTube or wherever applicable.

I am proficient with DSLR cameras, Ross Carbonite Switchers, XPression, Adobe Creative Suite, Sony Vegas Pro, and Davinci Resolve.

I've worked for 3Play Media, several YouTube content creators, Senate Media Services for the Minnesota Senate.

I graduated at Hopkins High School in 2016. I completed 2 years of Normandale Community College and currently am pursuing to finish my Bachelor's Degree for Film and Media at the Metropolitan State University. I'm hoping to finish school in 2027.
