Kendra Hazaert

I'm Kendra Hazaert, a senior at Denmark High School and Denmark Viking Academy, but I am now doing online school. I have been active in FFA all throughout high school. I love all kinds of animals which is why I am very interested in working in the Veterinary industry.

Dairy Farmer at Family Farm (2007 – Present)

• Helped me learn a lot of problem solving skills and time management
• Working on the farm is the main reason I want to take care of animals as a career. I love helping animals and taking care of them. I've taken care of many different kinds of farm animals and household animals.

Afternoon Chores at Creekview Riding Stable (2024-10 – 2024-12)

• Working here helped me learn a routine but also made me figure out how to solve problems that would occur.
• I gained more skills while working with the horses that will help me with my future careers in the veterinary industry.

Milking Cows at Fairview Pastures (2025-10 – 2026-2)

• This job has taught me more than I thought, mainly because I grew up on a farm, but I have learned many things especially in the parlor because I am used to being in a tie stall barn.
• Working at the farm helped me gain more knowledge about livestock and what it takes to care for the animals in order to keep them healthy.
