I am a recent graduate from the University of North Texas, where I received a B.A. in Linguistics with a concentration in teaching English in the global context, magna cum laude.
As an undergraduate student, I gained valuable teaching skills through my degree concentration (Teaching English in the Global Context) and through my work as a Teaching Assistant. During my time as a Teaching Assistant at the Intensive English Language Institute at The University of North Texas, I also volunteered as a Conversation Partner for students who wanted to finetune their conversational English with the help of a native English speaker. Through this work, I helped students develop their vocabulary and practice their listening and speaking skills.
Additionally, I have experience doing freelance photography where I continuously adapted in order to satisfy the needs of each unique individual, exercising skills such as independence, time management, and flexibility.
While studying linguistics at The University of North Texas, I conducted research on many topics from second language acquisition, to teaching pedagogy, to American Sign Language linguistics. This provided me with valuable data implementation and interpretation skills, as well as public speaking and leadership experience. In May of 2025, I received a B.A. in Linguistics with a concentration in teaching English in the global context, magna cum laude.
