Born and raised in Hollywood, California, Ken bought his first underwater camera as a teenager and the rest is literally history in the world of firsts for technical cinematography as a tool for storytelling. A few technical achievements in cinematography include shooting the world's first all digital 3D Large Format FIlm (IMAX) in Antarctica, winning the first Emmy in cinematography shot on RED camera and he built the first all digital underwater 3D dual camera mirror system that he deployed to the Solomon Islands working with Mark and Ray Dalio for OceanX.
Experience includes designing, building and shooting technically advanced camera systems. Several of these systems were utilized by Ken in the Arctic and Antarctic. Advanced digital work flows from data acquisition in the field to back ups and deliverables from IMAX to YouTube.
