Kent Rousseau

• Kent Rousseau graduated summa cum laude from the University of North Texas in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree. During his time at the university, he served as an office assistant in the campus computer lab, where he combined technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills. His responsibilities included maintaining lab equipment, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and performing routine upkeep such as printer maintenance, in addition to assisting patrons with a range of computer-related needs. He also contributed to the day-to-day administrative functions that kept the lab running efficiently.

• Following his academic work, he gained international professional experience in cruise ship entertainment. In this role, he completed training in emergency response, CPR/first aid, crowd control, and guest communication. He was responsible not only for delivering performances, but also for clearly explaining health and safety protocols to guests and adapting his communication style to diverse audiences.

  His work required a consistent ability to engage with individuals from varied backgrounds while maintaining professionalism, clarity, and responsiveness in both routine and high-pressure situations.

• Kent moved to the city of St. Louis in April 2026, across the river from his hometown of O'Fallon, Illinois. He is currently seeking opportunities where he can apply his technical skills, communication strengths, and adaptability in a professional setting.

  He is particularly interested in roles that involve problem-solving, client interaction, and systems support, where he can contribute to organizational efficiency while continuing to grow his expertise.
