Our day begins with loading our equipment, organizing it in our workspace, and preparing everything for service. We help prepare and heat up food and arrange drinks in the coolers. Once everything is set up, I take the lead in welcoming guests and inquiring about their preferred beverages.
I primarily serve drinks, ensure that everything runs smoothly, and clean up once they finish their meals. While it can get busy at times, during quieter moments, I look for tasks to assist with, such as helping food servers or checking in with tables to see if everyone has received their food and drinks. As the day wraps up, we cut and serve the cake, and before leaving, we tidy up the workspace we used.
This experience has allowed me to start developing essential work skills, such as adaptability, quick learning, and responsiveness, while also enhancing my social skills with clients and improving my communication with coworkers.

Every Saturday and Sunday, I work alongside my mother at the flea market. We kick off our workday by loading products onto a truck and heading to our designated space. Once we arrive, we unload the merchandise, organizing it by product type and size, ensuring everything is wiped down before customers make a purchase.
I need to memorize prices and greet customers warmly while explaining the products, speaking quickly and persuasively. When processing sales, I strive to provide friendly service, leaving customers feeling appreciated for their purchases. At the end of the day, we return any unsold items to storage totes to load back onto the truck.
