I recently moved from Roanoke to teach in Fairfax County. I would love to be hired part-time with Parks and Recreation. I can work in programming for kids and adults, maintain a local park, or work in an office.

I have been teaching for 18 years in various positions and programs. For the past 13 years I have taught first and second grade in Title 1 schools. During the summers, I have directed/taught art and sewing camps. I have also worked in a college as the work-force development liaison and educator.
I moved to Alexandria in June to teach in Fairfax County, so I am looking for part-time summer employment.
I have a Master's Degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism with a concentration in Therapeutic Recreation and Special Education. My thesis was Educational Programs For At-Risk Youth.
