- Perform Langendorff heart perfusions and aortic cannulation to maintain ex vivo beating hearts for functional assays
- Load voltage-sensitive dyes (di-4-ANEPPS) and calcium indicators (Rhod-2) to perform high-speed optical mapping and quantify action potentials, calcium transients, conduction velocity, and arrhythmogenic activity
- Participate in in vivo cardiac assessment through echocardiography and MRI imaging to evaluate structural and functional remodeling in mouse disease models
