Kevin Kapelski

I’m a sophomore at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering while serving in the U.S. Army ROTC program. I’m passionate about the intersection of engineering, leadership, and problem-solving — from circuit design and power systems to hands-on lab work and team-based engineering projects.

My academic and military experience has helped me develop strong skills in analytical thinking, teamwork, and discipline. I enjoy tackling real-world engineering challenges, whether it’s through project-based learning, research, or leadership training in ROTC.

I’m currently seeking opportunities to apply my skills through internships, research, or field experience in electrical systems and automation.
