Most companies know they need community. Few know how to build it. Even fewer have someone who's done it from zero (repeatedly, and at scale).
I'm a community architect and executive event producer who has spent years building programs that become strategic advantages: Narwhal Nation (3,300+ members, 8x YOY growth) at Triple Whale, a fintech community of 3,000+ at Sequence, and programs at Yelp that started in Austin and ended up replicated in 30+ markets worldwide.
My work sits at the intersection of community design, event production, and GTM strategy. I build the infrastructure (think rituals, onboarding pathways, superuser programs, flagship events) that turn an audience into an asset. The Whalies. The Triple Whale Roadshow. Community update newsletters to 40,000+ subscribers. 120+ live events in 18 months. Masterminds for top members of a community running more than $8 Billion in AOV.
I have built zero-to-one: the moment when a founder or marketing leader knows something needs to exist but isn't sure what shape it takes. Also adept at syncing with communities in motion.
If you're building a community program from the ground up, or rebuilding one that could use fresh perspective, let's talk.
I have had a long career building communities, from being an early employee at Yelp to standing up B2B SaaS companies from zero to thriving with Triple Whale (ecommerce) and Sequence (fintech). Lots of event design and execution as well. My communities have built competitive moats (5x retention lift at Triple Whale), growth (8x YoY growth at Triple Whale) and informed platform success (Sequence).
I have a BA in Public Relations from Texas Tech University
