Kevin O’Connor

My name is Kevin O'Connor I graduated from SUNY Cortland in 2023 and I am looking for a full time job opportunity to begin my career. I have a lot of experience in the professional sports landscape while working with the New York Jets and I am looking to expand upon that.

My professional experience includes working for the New York Jets. Here I was in the gameday and event operations role. Helping everything behind the scenes go smoothly from gamedays, to training camp to holiday parties I was apart of the people who made the entire thing run smoothly. I learned a lot about myself in this role bearing a lot of responsibility and becoming a leader to my coworkers.

During my time in college I was sports sections editor for the news paper. I was in charge of keeping up to date with all of the sports teams on campus and writing about them on a weekly basis. This included writing game summaries, profile pieces, outlooks on the upcoming season among other things. This experience really forced me to go out and talk to people I otherwise would have never talked and overall made me a comfortable person when I am now put in those situations.
