- Co-designed and instructed a National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) grant-sponsored course examining the U.S. military's role in genocide prevention and international conflict.

- Deployed ahead of the main unit as Advance Echelon (ADVON) NCO, conducting situational analysis of the area of operations and coordinating with partner units and Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to build relationships ahead of the unit's full deployment.
- Led a 12-soldier squad while serving as liaison to Kurdish SDF partner forces, applying cross-cultural communication to support coalition planning and operational coordination throughout the deployment.
- Coordinated with NGOs, partner units, and the SDF on the repatriation mission at the Al-Hol IDP camp, providing security and assisting in the screening of individuals; supported the repatriation of over 5,000 women and children during the deployment.
- Planned and participated in over 150 combat patrols and counter-IED operations in a high-threat environment, served as Agent in Charge (AIC) of the unit's personal security detail (PSD) and dismount teams, and maintained operational readiness of unit communications equipment.

- Led a 5-soldier team and later a 13-soldier squad at a Florida-based unit, training and certifying dismounts and preparing personnel and equipment for follow-on deployment.

- Coordinated communications, intelligence gathering, and operational planning within a Tactical Operations Center, applying situational analysis to support over 100 combat operations and separate humanitarian relief missions in a high-threat environment.
- Provided personal security for diplomatic delegations from multiple nations and senior military officials as part of a multinational task force, applying cross-cultural communication alongside Georgian, Czech, Polish, and Afghan partner forces.
Active Duty Service, including South Korea Rotation at U.S. Army (2015-01 – 2018-12)
- Served as a team member/dismount, signing for and maintaining accountability of equipment valued at over $35 million over a one-year period with zero loss or damage.

- Completed two multi-week trips to Ukraine to independently procure and deliver medical supplies to Ukrainian military personnel, coordinating with NGO partners on logistics and distribution amid active conflict conditions.
- Applied firsthand exposure to conflict-zone logistics, security risks, and humanitarian needs to inform graduate dissertation research on Russian Conventional and Unconventional Forces' Laws of Armed Conflict violations in Ukraine.
