Hi, this is Kexin, a first year master's student in Carnegie Mellon University. My major is Electrical & Computer Engineering. I'm seeking a software development internship this Summer. So far I've gained solid understanding and practical programming experiences in Java, C and Python, as well as adept at many useful frameworks and tools such as Git, Node.js, JUnit and Numpy.
I also had group project experiences with building a distributed system in Python. Hopefully, my skill set can become a great attachment for my job seeking!
I have built an interactive client-server application in Python, which is based on a fully functional distributed system to detect and react to any possible failures on the server-side robustly. I also have an understanding of the infrastructure of computer system design in order to optimize memory utilization in C. Except for the academic projects I have engaged in, I also had experiences as a lab research assistant at the University of California, San Diego.
I have played an important role to communicate with other lab members, collaborating between scientific groups, and also making contributions to publications.
I'm currently a 1st year master's student in Electrical & Computer Engineering department in Carnegie Mellon University.
