Case Manager Supervisor, I worked on a crisis and stabilization unit. Patients are assessed in the observation unit for 72hrs, then they can transfer where clients can stay for up to fourteen days. I was responsible for all three programs on the night shift.
Collaborate with my team and other managers, daily shift reports, timesheets, assessments, maintain and document employee files, audits, write declarations, performance reviews, and orient inexperienced staff to policies and procedures. I would also go on outreach with the crisis team, when short staffed, or backed up. I also would provide patients with transportation to appointments, or to hospitals to get the client medically cleared when necessary.
- Work closely with community members such as police departments, fire departments, hospitals, emergency services, mental health facilities, and substance abuse treatment facilities, DSHS and Social Security.
