Kimberly Kowena

I’m a 59 year old, Native American. I reside in Shawnee,Oklahoma, with my husband and daughters. I was employed at the Pawnee Indian Health Service, from 2008 to 2009. I worked in the medical records department. My recent employment was at Building Blocks 11. I resigned from my teaching duties due to the effect it was having on my diabetes. I would like to return to the workplace to a less stressful job.

I was employed with Pawnee Indian Health Service,from 3-2008 to 3-2009. I have also worked in Childcare off and on for 30 years. I enjoyed being a teacher and all the challenges that came with it. I have worked with every age group, from school age to infants.

I always treated my students parents with respect and kindness. Making sure we had good communication and understanding, about the children’s daily activities and how they were doing regarding their activities and socialization in the classroom.

I have kept up with my requirements and certification, being an assistant teacher. I received my Child Development Associate certificate, 2006-20010.
