Retired federal employee from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention after 23 years. I have over 40 years of various experience in the Executive/Administrative area.
Various positions are as follows: Inventory Management Specialist, in the U.S. Air Force; Management Operations Specialist for the Office of CDC Director for over 9 years before retirement; served as a Passport, Immigration and Security Specialist during my career at CDC. Prior to CDC, worked at three of the Big Five Accounting firms such as Arthur Andersen, Deloitte and Touche and KPMG as an administrative assistant. Also, was a city mail carrier for the U.S.
Service. Am proficient in the Microsoft Suite, attention to detail skillset and extremely professional.
Extensive knowledge and training in personnel, travel, administrative and procurement/financial management systems. Consistently demonstrates exceptional professional skills including high levels of versatility in communications and establishing relations with others. A proven record of professionalism, leadership skills and the ability to work independently and effectively within a team structure.
Excellent computer skills. Capable of managing multiple projects and tasks. Excellent customer service, time management, meeting planning experience, administrative and management experience with government, national and local firms.
Proficient user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Internet research.
Typing speed: 73 WPM.
High School diploma with some college.
