About
I am an avid outdoors person; I spend most of my time camping and studying permaculture and land restoration. My long term goal is to build a self-sustaining homestead for my family and I am actively seeking relevant experiences to build my knowledge base.
I was raised in the rural Ozarks and am familiar with their wildlife and forests, as well as the tools used to manage them. I believe that when we choose to live in an area, it is our duty to provide the attention and care the land needs to stay healthy while still respecting natural responses to the changes of time. Studying, familiarizing, and recording the development of my surrounding area has taught me innumerable lessons about how to live my life.
I believe these lessons have much to offer our broader community in Missouri. I live my life in terms of seasonal changes, daily weather, and wildlife behavior - I have found this natural rhythm is part of the beauty of working with the land.
I am experienced with inventory organization softwares and parts ordering systems. I worked for two years repairing power tool battery packs. I have three total years of professional driving experience.
Some of my varied skills include a fair knowledge of both fishing and arborist knots, experience tracking and handling animals, high attention to detail, experience with tree felling, workshop organization, hand and power tool maintenance and upkeep, poisonous plant identification, and tractor operation. However, I believe my most valuable quality in regards to this position is that I am an eager and quick learner.
