- Answering important incoming calls/email correspondence, scheduling meetings
- Ensures all residents/administrative files are met with full state compliance
- Strategizing and implementing new ideas to promote the voice of staff and patients
- Staff supervision within all departments maintaining full responsibilities for efficient operations (housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance, care staff)
- Update long term business plans to create lasting policies and legal guidelines
- Marketing within communities and out outreach programs
- Manage patient records/ Medication Management (medical records, billing bookkeeping, charting, MAR, refilling medications, contacting pharmacies, storage compliance)
- Hiring, training, employ, and recruit potential candidates
- Manage incoming/outgoing referrals
- Complete Pre-Placement assessments, treatment plans as needed with families based on patient needs (comply with state forms, ext 602)
- Complete Pre-Admissions upon families and patient acceptance
- Preformed weekly meetings with staff to ensure productivity
- Compliance with Title 22
- Collaborate/Network within various healthcare providers, clinics, and agencies
- Assist and guide staff with providing care for residents in all levels of life (Non RN, LVN, CNA)
- Oversee all residents ADL's (Transfer assist, Hoyer Lift, Bed-side assist, bathing, grooming, dressing, meal prep, cleanliness, medication management, Diabetic Monitoring, Vitals check)
- Redirection when necessary
- Monitor recent/note daily health changes
- Noting throughout the day for each resident
- Stage 1 and 2 wound care
- Wound care prep
