Admin Assistant to the Service Line Director (Quality Department) - Decatur Morgan Hospital

I moved to the Quality Department in 2019 as the Admin Assistant to the Service Line Director. During my time in the Quality Department, I have taken meeting minutes; gained additional knowledge in Microsoft Office; prepared classrooms for training; coordinated meetings; escorted the hospital surveyors around the hospital while making notes of their findings; spoke with physicians and office managers about peer reviews; and during COVID19 I assisted in the cafeteria and called patients regarding COVID19 testing. I assisted in the Medical Records Department filing charts and verifying the accuracy of the information compared to what we have in our EMR.

Current Position - Decatur Morgan Occupational Medicine

Now, I am currently working at Decatur Morgan Occupational Medicine. My responsibilities include answering the phones, taking payments, registering patients for physicals and drug screens, greeting walk-in injuries and/or drug screens not scheduled for testing, communicating with local businesses, data entry, and working closely with our clinical staff nurses; doctor; and CRNP on a daily basis.
