Managing Director, MetroWest Community Support Services - SMOC

Serve as a member of the Senior Leadership Team in the Regional Services Division. Responsible for management and coordination of all operations of the Individual System of Care in MetroWest including emergency shelter, housing, outreach and young adult programming. Provide leadership and supervision to coordinate, monitor and enhance the SMOC single adult continuum in the region, ensuring contract compliance, achievement of program and agency goals, quality service delivery, optimum staffing, and integration and partnership with our SMOC programs and external providers in support of the individuals we served.

Responsibilities also include oversight of the Framingham Community Center and acting as a primary liaison with key community stakeholders including the police, elected officials, and partner agencies.

Substance Use Clinician - ADVOCATES

(2025-01 - 2026-01)

The Substance Use Clinician provides supervision to staff to support the development of staff skills in responding to complex issues such as co-occurring disorders, substance use and trauma. The Substance Use Clinician conducts assessments and provides therapeutic community-based services to individuals who were formerly homeless and who require additional support as a result of substance use, mental health diagnoses, and a history of trauma.

Rhodes to Recovery - Program Director - SMOC

Responsible for the day to day operations of a "social model" residential program for 27 women with a history of substance use.

• Staff recruitment and selection
• Staff supervision
• Updating program policies and procedures
• Ensuring proper maintenance of client records in accordance with DPH standards
• Evaluating program design
• Administrative oversight including billing, data collection, fiscal and budgetary oversight
• Act as the liaison with funder and all external providers

Substance Use Coordinator - SMOC

• Manage the operational and fiscal activities of the program/department to include: staffing levels, budgets, and financial goals
• Recruit, manage, develop and evaluate staff by providing timely mentoring, training and performance management
• Complete required paperwork in accordance with company policy
• Manage the day to day activities of the Recovery Support Center including acting as the liaison to the AA meetings that are held on-site
• Outreach to other community-based programs, communities, cities and towns, and internally to provide education
• Outreach to MetroWest DPH offices and other health care providers to collaborate on education
• Supervise Peer Recovery Coach staff including completing paperwork and providing timely mentoring and training

Case Manager/Recovery Specialist - SMOC

• Initiate apt verbal and written communication for ultimate recovery
• Supervise overnight and weekend activities and clients
• Provide Case Management/counseling to individuals in crisis situations
• Provide safety for all clients by completing hourly safety and fire check throughout the night
