HR
I am a Human Resources professional focused on building compliant, structured, and people-centered workplaces. With experience in employee relations, regulatory compliance, onboarding, and training development, I bring a proactive and solutions-driven approach to HR.
I am passionate about strengthening processes, supporting leadership, and creating clear systems that align people strategy with organizational goals. My focus is simple: ensure integrity, improve performance, and foster workplaces where employees feel supported and empowered to succeed.
I am a dedicated Business Management student with hands-on experience in human resources, leadership, and community involvement. Currently, I work as a Student Assistant in the Human Resources Department at Farmingdale State College, where I support recruitment efforts, manage job listings, track candidate applications, and assist with HR metrics. I also provide administrative support, handle confidential documents, and coordinate communication within the department.
Additionally, I work at the Nexus Center for Applied Learning and Career Development, helping students and alumni improve their resumes and job application strategies, while representing the center at various campus events.
Alongside my academic and HR roles, I completed a Human Resources internship at United Skates of America, where I gained experience with HR software, conducted interviews, and ensured compliance with company policies. I’ve also demonstrated leadership as the Head Peer Mentor at Suffolk County Community College, where I mentored incoming students and trained new peer mentors. I am actively involved in community service, volunteering at the Farmingdale State College Food Pantry and participating in local service events.
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a Human Resource Management Certificate at Farmingdale State College, expected to graduate in May 2025. I also hold an Associate of Science in Business Administration from Suffolk Community College, where I was recognized for my academic achievements.
I have gained hands-on experience through various roles, including assisting in the Human Resources department at Farmingdale State College and interning in the Human Resources department at United Skates of America. Additionally, I served as the Head Peer Mentor at Suffolk Community College, helping incoming students adjust to college life, and have been actively involved in volunteer and community service activities.
