After being a truck driver for 23 years I'm looking for a change in my profession, but I still have a deep love for trucking so I am looking to become a dispatcher/sales agent for a company who wants to see their drivers happy and motivated to move freight. I've done a little bit of everything in the trucking industry. I've been an owner operator/lease operator as well as 1099 contractor as which in some cases have dealt with self dispatching.
In this time I have experience in gaining and saving contracts for previous employers which helped me gain experience with negotiations. I have also been a diesel mechanic for almost 7 years, so I have been able to drive and solve mechanical issues for myself as well. I have many familiarities with diesel engines and trucks on general as well as electrical.
