How much time you got?
I've been a cnc lathe/mill machinist making parts for Sandia Laboratories, via Backerworks contracts. As well as Stainless Motors inc. I have 6 years of on job experience.
I've also been a certified nurses assistant. 3 years experience.
Lately I've been making guitars by hand/router and doing setups. So far, 2 les pauls and a replacement neck (korina/pale moon ebony) for a gibson sg modern.
I was also in a metal band for 2 years, lead guitar, song writing, singing, music and video production.
I have 6 years of on job cnc machining experience. I wrote code, by hand as well as Mastercam, did full setups, parts inspection, basic machine maintenance and kept an orderly working space.
I can operate bandsaws, manual mills and lathes and a littony of powered hand tools.
I have all my fingers and both my eyes and I dont intend on losing them.
Stainless motors sent me to Dallas/ft.Worth to take part in a tooling convention put on by ISCAR on behalf of the company.
Machining is like riding a bike. Lately I have mostly certified nursing job experience, but I use my setup knowledge and precision machining experience nearly everday by means of lutherie. I build electrifreebie. And do setups on instruments in my freetime.
I come from a family of auto manufacturers, machinists and nurses.
I graduated from Central New Mexico with a certification in Machine Tool Technology. I was hired immediately out of school by Stainless Motors.
I graduated from Rio Rancho high school in 2008 with a high school diploma.
