Kyra Howard

My name is Kyra Howard, I am a 19-year-old nursing student at the University of Connecticut, working towards my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I am passionate about healthcare and dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of others. With strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to learning, I am eager to apply my academic knowledge and clinical experiences through an internship in nursing.

I am looking for an opportunity to further develop my skills and gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting, while contributing to a team that values compassionate care and professional growth.

I have worked as a cashier at UPS, and a small family owned bagel shop. In both of these positions I have helped remedy costumer needs and demonstrated great leadership and people skills. These positions have honed my customer service, communication, and teamwork skills, as well as my ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced environments.

As a nursing student, I am eager to apply my strong interpersonal abilities and work ethic to a hospital setting. My experiences have taught me how to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism, and I am excited to further develop these skills through a clinical internship.

I am in my sophomore year as an undergraduate nursing student at the University of Connecticut.
