I hold a master's degree in psychology and have a passion for educating addicts on the reprogramming of their brains and minds and adopting healthy habits. Being a recovered addict, long-term sobriety is always the goal. I'm familiar with PTSD and its effect on those who use substances to numb emotional pain. I am compassionate, empathetic, and have an unmatched approach that will identify relapse risk behaviors and talk about them.
I worked with Clinica Sierra Vista and used EBPs CBT in group facilitation and individual counseling. I am familiar with stages of change, coping techniques, case management, clinical documentation, drug screening, motivational interviewing, and maintaining privacy.
