Leesa McClelland is a dedicated Deaf mental health therapist who provides culturally responsive, accessible counseling to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. I have worked more than 10 years in the mental health field as a case manager, as a therapist, and as a school-based therapist for young students. I have worked at Aspire Indiana Health, Everybody Counts, and am currently working for National Deaf Therapy.
I graduated in 2017 with a masters in education for clinical mental health counseling with addiction certification at Purdue University Northwest Indiana in Hammond, Indiana. I have completed several internships at Mount Sinai in Chicago for Deaf Mental Health Services and Aspire Indiana Health before I promoted as a therapist. I also graduated with a bachelors in Human Developmental and Family Services in 2013.
