Leslie Chavez

I would like to introduce myself as genuinely and straightforward as possible. My name is Leslie Chavez. I am a Cal State University, Long Beach Masters graduate who intends to promote the importance of learning languages and the language's pertaining culture, in accordance with an appreciation for the Italian: culture, norms, history, traditions, geographical stance, and more!

In relation to my hobbies, I am a fellow Yogi and explorer. Through yoga (and any kind of exercise, in reality), I've not only learned the importance of staying healthy, but also of tending to the self to accomplish physical, mental and emotional balance. Traveling has broadened my perspective on the importance of placing others norms and customs in consideration during any given time, place, or situation. 

Thus, all of my professional accomplishments and personal interests have built a passion to raise further awareness on the importance of global interconnectivity.

During my Master's program, I taught 100 level Italian and Spanish courses as a Teacher Associate.

I am a Cal State University, Long Beach Masters graduate who has focused on the Romance Languages for a total of 7 yearsWhen not physically at CSULB, I attended two other Italian universities: Campus L’Infinito in Recanati, Italy and Scuola Leonardo da Vinci in Rome, Italy.
