Biology Student (with medical experience)

I am 18 years old and currently a student at Orange Coast College, working towards an associate's degree in Biology. I plan to transfer to a UC or CSU in the future. Currently, I attend classes part-time on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 AM to 12 PM.
I have gained valuable medical experience from shadowing an anesthesiologist during the summer of 2023 in my home country. During this time, I learned a variety of medical terminology and became familiar with procedures such as administering anesthesia, monitoring patients during surgery, and post-operative care. I also observed various surgical techniques, including intubation and patient sedation.
In addition to my medical experience, I have six years of experience as a babysitter, working with children of different ages. I’ve also worked with animals, having been a dog walker and sitter. Furthermore, I worked as a cashier at a Mexican restaurant in Anaheim.
Looking ahead, I plan to expand my knowledge of medical terminology by taking a Medical Terminology course at my college next year.
