When I was fourteen I decided I had to foster kittens and over the course of the next four years I fostered around 100 kittens. While my friends were playing video games I was scrubbing playpens, nursing sick kittens back to health, or socializing feral kittens - and I was absolutely content with every minute of it. Even when it's hard I love the purpose caring for animals fills me with.
I have found that I thrive when I am in an environment where I can learn and feel productive and useful. I am now seeking a full time job where I can continue to serve animals in need.
I fostered a wide variety of kittens over the years including newborns, feral kittens, interesting medical cases and more. I learned how to coordinate their care between me and my family and keep track of multiple animals' feeding, weight, medications, symptoms, etc. and keep their environments clean and safe. I also provided biographies and photos for their adoption profiles. I also have experience with my own pet dogs and cats.
