My name is Elisabeth. I go by Liz. I am 20 years old. I graduated high school in 2024. I am currently in Real Estate school trying to obtain my real estate license. I love talking to people and making people laugh. I love meeting new people and animals. My favorite thing to do is read and paint.

From May 2022 to August 2025 I worked out South Shreveport animal Hospital, moving from a kennel assistant to a vet assistant, and later on a veterinary technician throughout this entire experience, I learned to preform task which included:

Assisted veterinarians in performing medical procedures, including administering medications, taking X-rays, and conducting laboratory tests.

• Provided compassionate care to animals by monitoring their vital signs and ensuring their comfort during examinations, surgical procedures and, treatments.
• Prepared surgical equipment and assisted in surgeries, ensuring a sterile environment and proper handling of instruments.
• Performed dental cleanings on animals under anesthesia.
• Educated pet owners on preventive care measures such as flea control, heartworm prevention, and nutrition guidelines
• Handled emergency situations calmly and efficiently by providing first aid treatment to injured or distressed animals
• Assisted in euthanasia procedures with empathy and sensitivity towards grieving pet owners
• Provided post-operative care instructions to pet owners regarding wound management, medication administration etc
• Monitored anesthesia during surgical procedures by observing vital signs of patients
• Maintained cleanliness of examination rooms before/after appointments
• Restrained animals safely during examinations or treatments using appropriate techniques
