Hi, thanks for checking out my profile—I'm Lisa Myklak.
I am an enthusiastic graphic designer with a keen eye for branding and page layout. I believe that form follows function in design and the end user should be thoughtfully considered. My designs are purposeful and rooted in building strong client relationships. I genuinely care about clients goals and aspirations. By fostering meaningful connections, I ensure that my designs not only reflect my clients' vision but also surpass their expectations.
I love passing on my knowledge for design and I have my Career & Technology Education certificate specializing in multimedia graphic design. It's important for me to meet a student where they are at and help build their life skills along with design skills. I believe my commitment to fostering creativity and imparting knowledge to the next generation sets me apart as a well-rounded professional who can be an asset in the work place.
My talents extend beyond the realm of graphic design. As a former professional downhill mountain biker, I have competed at the highest levels, including the World Cup and World Championships where I represented the United State. My drive, discipline, and ability to push boundaries on and off the bike influence my work ethic.
Beautiful Colorado is my home state which I have once again returned to. I'm constantly inspired by the natural beauty and I spend my free time exploring the magnificent mountains with my daughter. I am passionate about gardening (another form of amazing design) and coming up with new ways to prepare meals with everything we grow.
With a unique blend of design expertise, teaching experience, and an adventurous spirit, I know I will be an invaluable asset to any creative team. Whether you're seeking innovative branding solutions, impeccable page layouts, or a dedicated professional who will go the extra mile for your project, I'm your designer!
I have been working as a graphic designer and creative for well over a decade. I've worn many creative hats: copy writing, photography and photo-shoot prep, print production, education in multimedia graphic design and freelance.
I love seeing the whole product come together, but my wheelhouse is branding, marketing and page layout. I'm a self starter though and I'm not afraid to learn something new—actually, that often keeps me engaged—and I love to collaborate.
Long after I had been putting together photo shoots and creating a plethora of digital assets for over 1000 bicycle retailers' websites, I decided to go back to school specifically for graphic design. I knew there were some wholes in my skills and I wanted to create designs that were fundamentally strong. I'm so glad I went back! You don't know, what you don't know. If money were not a concern, I would get my masters too—I love education.
